Below is an update on the recent work completed and work to come. Soon we will provide an update on the contributions and expenses associated with the Capital Campaign. Learn more about the Celebrating Our Future Capital Campaign here. If you are interested in contributing, contact Kathi Ley here.
Worship Center We are obtaining quotes on new lighting and tracks in the Worship Center so that when Epiphany re-orients the altar and chairs, the lighting will not need to be disengaged and physically moved by a volunteer.
Community Center The Community Center restrooms and service kitchen are finished. We will evaluate renovations for the Library and Nursery in the future.
Epiphany House
The remaining windows have been replaced. The exterior doors, and French doors in the living and dining rooms, as well as the Pastor and Business Manager offices, will be replaced in March.
Our next phase is renovating the kitchen and evaluating the bathrooms. Painting and flooring will then be addressed.
Geothermal installation is expected in early March.
Rectory
The tile in the bathrooms is complete, and we appreciate parishioner-owned RosaMosaic for their assistance. Using their remnants and leftover tiles saves Epiphany a significant amount of funds. BellaStone/RosaMosaic is also providing the countertops which should be installed by month’s end.
Hardwood flooring was laid and will be stained and sealed soon. Third-floor carpeting was installed by parishioner-owned Carpet Connections.
Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry has been installed.
Kitchen appliances have been delivered. Thankfully, a parishioner has covered the cost!
Light fixtures and fans will be installed soon.
Much of the furniture is ordered or on hold. Cherry House is providing Epiphany a generous discount on the Rectory furniture, as well the use of their designer! We are grateful for Cherry House and the parishioner on the Renovations Committee who secured this terrific service for us. It will be a blessing to have quality and long-lasting furniture for our parish-owned housing.
We are grateful for the volunteer work from our parishioners on the Rectory project. They have saved us a lot of money!
We are hopeful that the Rectory will be move-in ready by the end of March, although the actual move day is likely after Easter!
