As the renovations to the rectory come to a close and our pastor moves into his new home, our focus moves to work on the Epiphany House (parish office) renovations:
All the new energy-efficient doors and windows are installed, and the new geothermal system is up and running.
The power washing and painting of the stucco, including repair work to the wood trim and painting of railings, is now underway.
New kitchen cabinetry has been selected and should be installed in mid to late August.
Kitchen renovations will include new flooring; wall, trim, and door painting; countertops; stove; microwave; and lighting.
Bathrooms will be refreshed - paint, flooring, lighting, and fixtures where needed.
The foyer will be refreshed with a new wallpaper or paint, trim and door painting, and a re-envisioning of the space to be more welcoming to visitors and parishioners.
Lighthouse planning and renovations are happening in the near future, so stay tuned for more information.
Capital Campaign Giving allows us to pay for our renovations as we go -- meaning no loans! Epiphany is blessed to have a parish filled with generous people. Our renovations have been funded from Capital Campaign donations and a generous matching grant to date, but we have had to borrow from our own savings in advance of incoming gifts.
Contribution statements will be sent out in early July if you need to review your pledge, and we encourage families to continue contributing to the Capital Campaign.
Not Yet Pledged? Any families who have not yet pledged but would like to contribute and keep our projects moving forward, please contact Mary Downs, Business Manager (502-780-0673 or [email protected]), or Stephanie Jones, Bookkeeper (502-780-1083 or [email protected]) for more information.
