WE HAVE A RECTORY! Located in the Owl Creek subdivision and minutes from campus, we are blessed to purchase a beautiful house significantly under the market (more than 30% under!), thanks to the diligent work of one of our Finance Council members. The interior does require renovations before it is move-in ready. The purchase was sooner than we had anticipated based on our original plan for the Capital Campaign, but this property was too good to pass up! We will meet with a renovation professional to guide and execute this process and continue to update the Parish.
In other areas:
COMMUNITY CENTER
The partition walls have been installed!
We are looking into window darkening materials to enhance the presentation experience in our new space.
BATHROOMS & SERVING KITCHEN
We are evaluating bids to update the restrooms. We hope to begin this project in the early fall.
The serving kitchen will be updated with new cabinets to utilize the space more efficiently and to offer countertop space.
We plan to add a larger refrigerator, dishwasher, and commercial coffee machine to this area.
EPIPHANY HOUSE
We have selected a vendor for replacing all the windows and doors at the Parish Office with double-pane, energy-efficient ones. Currently, we are waiting on approval from the Archdiocese.
We are looking at alternatives to conventional heating and cooling systems.
We have plans to remodel other areas in the offices, especially the restrooms and kitchen, and hope to refresh the paint in the offices and common areas.
We are blessed by the generosity of our parishioners to pay for each of these projects as we go, eliminating the need to take out loans and pay additional fees such as interest. If you have not had a chance to commit, we welcome your pledges and gifts, especially with costs increasing worldwide.
