Last weekend, Epiphany hosted its annual leadership enrichment workshop. Attendees included chairpersons from ministries under Worship, Formation, and Social Responsibility in addition to members of the Parish Pastoral Council, Financial Advisory Council, and the Parish Pastoral Ministry Team (employees).
This year, we were blessed to have David Baranowski from the Archdiocese of St. Louis as our guest facilitator. David encouraged participants to think of “Time, Talent, and Treasure” as “Prayer, Participation, and Generosity.” Everything begins in prayer (time with God). Parish leadership was also encouraged to build a path for discipleship for others. Such tools as our Spiritual Gifts Assessment can help parishioners learn how God has equipped them to be disciples. With our Spiritual Gifts Chart, parishioners can discover where their spiritual gifts can be most effective at Epiphany. The assessment and chart are on our website’s Serve page: https://ecclou.org/ministries.
