Epiphany Catholic Church and St. William Catholic Church will co-host this special Social Concerns Forum. Serving on the panel will be Bishop John Stowe, OFM Conv., Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, and Dr. Jessica Buckley, Assistant Professor, Higher Education Administration, University of Louisville College of Education and Human Development. Dr. Buckley will focus on the impact that attacks on DEI are having on educational systems and student learning. Bishop Stowe will focus on DEI as it relates to Catholic Social Teachings.
The purpose of the Social Concerns Forum is to provide a safe, inclusive space for community members and guests to hear presentations and engage in dialogues on societal issues through the lens of faith, justice, and compassion, while upholding the Church’s teachings and traditions.
