Roots 101 African American Museum
As part of Epiphany's observance of Black Catholic History Month in November, parishioners are invited to tour the Roots 101 African American Museum with lunch to follow at Fish Fryday [at Porkland BBQ] in west Louisville.
In its inaugural year 2020, Roots 101 was recognized by Architectural Digest and USA Today as one of the top museums in the country. An experienced guide will step us through fascinating exhibits that explore the African American story, culture, and heritage. We will gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the struggles, resilience, creativity, and contributions of African Americans. The cost for the tour is $14 per person. Lunch is paid at the counter.
Register with Mary Kaye Jacobs or Tim Grove.
