Epiphany Catholic Church, located on 20 acres of idyllic grounds in Anchorage, KY, seeks a Christ-centered individual to serve as our full-time (40 hrs/week) Parish Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities include general bookkeeping, account receivables, account payables, reporting, and record keeping. This person acts as an office volunteer scheduler and trainer, a source of information to parishioners, as well as other duties assisting the Business Manager and Parish Staff. This position receives benefits such as medical insurance, a generous 401k package, paid vacation, and sick days. Candidates should possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. The job requires the ability to maintain confidentiality concerning parishioners, staff, and volunteers. The candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or a degree in accounting. Knowledge of church or accounting database systems is a plus.
