Youth Confirmation

Youth confirmation is a one-year process beginning in the fall of the 9th grade and concluding around Pentecost in the Spring of 9th grade. It employs small group interaction, service projects, retreats, and discussion to prepare Candidates to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, giving them the tools necessary to begin the process of taking ownership of their faith and preparing them to live a life of putting their faith into action. Meets twice a month, requires service experiences and includes one retreat in the spring.

Cost: $65, which covers each family’s materials and spring retreat for candidates. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact Tasha Gordon.

Parents Information Meeting: This meeting is for parents and candidates to learn more about the sacramental preparation process and schedule. We will meet between 9AM and 11:30AM Masses on Sunday, September 8th in the Lighthouse. The meeting will be no longer than one hour.

Schedule: Confirmation prep classes will be on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month beginning in October-May in the Lighthouse. Schedule will be handed out at the Parent Information Meeting on September 8th.
