SAGES: Chuck Mattingly, Director of the Franciscan Kitchen, is our October speaker. “A Journey of Faith and Service”

Join us on October 18 at Epiphany as we welcome Charles “Chuck” Mattingly. A St. Xavier High School graduate and longtime owner of Horner Novelty Company, Chuck’s journey reflects perseverance, prayer, and a heart for others. After a devastating fire destroyed his business in 2004, he rebuilt it but felt called to something beyond business success. That calling led him to volunteer at Franciscan Kitchen in 2008, where he served meals and built relationships with people facing hunger. In September 2010, he became its Operations Director.

Inspired by the question, “How would St. Francis handle this?” Chuck finds joy and purpose in serving alongside dedicated volunteers. Come hear his inspiring story of faith, resilience, and discovering God’s call through service to our neighbors
