Event Summary Epiphany held a Lenten Parish Mission, March 16-18, 2025 to kick off the Lenten season. As Catholics, Lent is a time for renewal, reflection and deepening our faith in Christ. This year's mission is "God's Invitation to Conversion Through Conversation."

Compassionate Support and Healing
Community Care ministries focus on offering compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual support, this group serves parishioners in times of need. Ministries include taking the Eucharist to the sick and homebound, hosting bereavement receptions, providing grief support groups, and creating items for the Healing Blanket ministry.

Bereavement Receptions
Assist on a team to bring a dish, setup, serve, and/or clean up after a funeral reception. Great opportunity for our homebound parishioners to stay involved by making phone calls. Assist Community Care with planning the Memorial Mass reception in early November. Contacts:

Blessing Card Ministry
Show thankfulness and gratitude by designing cards for our Veterans during Military Month, Veterans Day, and Christmas. Send greeting cards to the Home of the Innocents. Provide blessing cards for the parish community.
Eucharist to the Sick and Homebound
Visit homebound parishioners, at their home, nursing home, or in the hospital. Volunteers trained to administer Holy Communion.
Flower Angels
Share your flower arranging talents or help to make notes for floral
arrangements to be delivered to the homebound and the bereaved.

Deliver flowers to bereaved and homebound parish members at Christmas and Easter
Grief Support Group

Healing Blanket Ministry
Sew and crochet homemade blankets to those in need of healing and indigent burial palls for the County Coroner. No sewing skills required. Other skills needed, including cutting & ironing fabric, creating prayer cards, and assembling prayer books. Health & Wellness Ministry
Empower and equip our parish community with education and support for health and wellness through seminars, health screenings, demonstrations, and restorative activities that nurture mind, body, and spirit.
HOPE for the Widowed Support Groups
Provide love and kindness that promotes spiritual and personal development to women of all ages.
Prayer Chain Ministry
Sign up to pray for those who request prayers as a prayer chain
minister. A short orientation is required. Prayer requests emailed once per week. An opportunity for the homebound to minister.
