Compassionate Support and Healing

Community Care ministries focus on offering compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual support, this group serves parishioners in times of need. Ministries include taking the Eucharist to the sick and homebound, hosting bereavement receptions, providing grief support groups, and creating items for the Healing Blanket ministry.

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Bereavement Receptions

Assist by serving on a bereavement team to bring a dish, setup, serve, and/or clean up after a funeral reception. Assist Community Life with planning the Memorial Mass reception in early November. Healing Blanket Ministry

Sew and provide homemade blankets to those in need of healing and indigent burial palls for the Office of the County Coroner. No sewing skills required. Other skills needed, including cutting & ironing fabric, creating prayer cards, and assembling prayer books. New to the ministry: Join others to crochet blankets.
