Share the Bread of Life

Prepare Worship Center and assist presider during Mass.

Sing at weekend Masses.

Augment liturgical music periodically. Music reading or the willingness to learn how to read music is required.

Involve your children in music ministry through choir, hand bells, or other instruments, specifically for Christmas Eve family Mass.

Distribute the Sacrament as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at all Eucharistic Masses. Training and Archdiocese mandate required every five years.

Support grieving families at the funeral by preparing the Worship Center, guiding participation in the Mass, offering hospitality as people arrive (participation sheets, directions, etc), and straightening up afterwards. Serve in one of several roles, including Funeral Assistant, Eucharistic Minister, Greeter, and Acolyte.

Greet Mass attendees before Mass, distribute worship aids, assist with seating, coordinate the collection, and straighten the Worship Center after Mass.

Share your vocal and instrumental talent as during Mass, programs, and events. Ensemble musicians participate in an audition process.

Proclaim the Scriptures, other prayers, and announcements during Mass. Training, evaluation, and yearly update required.

Provide interpretative dance for various Masses.
