Stewardship
Stewardship: All Things are Possible with God
The USCCB teaches that a Christian steward is someone who receives God's gifts gratefully, cherishes them responsibly, shares them in justice and love, and returns them with increase to the Lord. As Christians we are challenged live our faith as good stewards. We accomplish this through the following parish activities:
Devote time to worship and prayer
Share Talent in ministries of the parish
Give Treasure to sustain parish ministries
Protect the earth in our daily lives
A vibrant community is created when parish members share their time, talent, and treasure with the community. Stewardship enables Epiphany to meet the needs of the parish, as well as providing an opportunity for the Epiphany community to assist the greater whole community. Please check out the ministry catalog below to find information for sharing your talent and treasure. If you have any questions, please contact Doug Wolz via email at gro.hcruhccilohtacynahpipe@guod, or call 502-780-0673.

As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace.1 Peter 4:10
Stewardship Prayer
Praised are You, O God, our loving Creator and Giver of all good gifts.
Bless our parish, strengthen our faith and grant us the spirit of Christian stewardship so that we may give generously of our time in worship and prayer, our talent and our treasure to the spread of God’s glory here in our parish and our community, and help us acknowledge our God-given responsibility and privilege to care for our earth.
This we ask through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. Amen.

Automatic Bill Pay
Set up an automatic bill-pay through your own personal bank’s online banking program.
An automatic bill payment is a money transfer scheduled on a predetermined date to pay a recurring amount for stewardship. Automatic bill payments are routine payments made from a banking, brokerage, or mutual fund account to Epiphany. Automatic payments can be made from a checking account or credit card and typically are offered with no additional bank fee.
Gift of Stock
Give a gift of stock to Epiphany by completing the Archdiocesan stock transfer form and returning it as per their instruction. Click HERE to be directed to the Archdiocesan webpage on Giving for further information and a link to the form. Just the form can be found HERE. Donations of stock offer a way to make a charitable gift without having to utilize cash funds. In general, you can avoid capital gains taxes by donating stocks held for more than 12 months; however, you should always consult with your financial advisor or a tax professional to determine the actual tax benefits or any other consequences of a stock donation.
Talk with your financial advisor or tax professional to see if this will benefit you.
IRA Distribution
Instruct your financial advisor or institution to send a donation to Epiphany from your IRA Distribution.
The qualified charitable distribution (QCD) has been around for years, but was only codified as a permanent law a few years ago. A QCD allows those age 70 1/2 to give money to charities directly from their IRAs in a tax advantageous manner. This allows IRA owners who have attained age 70 1/2 to distribute money directly from the IRA to a qualified charity. You should always consult with your financial advisor or a tax professional to determine the actual tax benefits or any other consequences of such a donation.
Talk with your financial advisor or tax professional to see if this will benefit you.

Your envelope number (ask the office if you need this)
Notation on how to direct the funds (e.g. Stewardship or Capital Campaign) - Contact us once the check has been sent with the following information:
Date mailed
Broker or account name
Amount
Offertory Envelopes
Receive offertory envelopes (either weekly or monthly) to use when dropping a check or cash into the offertory basket on weekends. The office can make sure these are ordered for you – just let us know!
Epiphany Legacy Society
Dear Valued Parishioner,
Thank you to the many parishioners who support our parish through their regular stewardship contributions and who have made contributions to the Celebrating Our Future Capital Campaign. Your generosity is overwhelming.
One of the priorities of Epiphany Catholic Church is to ensure the long-term viability of our parish community. By focusing on the future, we can ensure that dynamic liturgies, enriching faith formation programs, and critical pastoral ministries will be available to the next generation of parishioners.
I am pleased to announce the Epiphany Legacy Society. This society will, in a small way, recognize and honor donors of specific bequests to Epiphany. Parishioners will be able to preserve our future by becoming members of the Society. Bequests will be used to support our thriving ministries and social outreach. It is only with dedicated parishioners like you that we will have the ability to continue our mission as a Catholic parish.
Many parishioners have already remembered Epiphany in their estate planning. We thank them for their commitment and encourage them to officially become a member of the Legacy Society. We invite other parishioners to join them in remembering our parish in their estate planning.
Thank you again for your continued support of our parish.
With prayerful gratitude,
Fr. Toan Do
