Tim Grove will start his new position on Wednesday, July 5.
Tim comes to Epiphany after serving 35 years as a lay ecclesial minister at the parish and archdiocesan levels. While a staff consultant for the Archdiocese of Louisville, Tim led Renew 2000, which involved 69 parishes, 1,000 small group leaders, and 10,000 persons in small groups.
For the past 20 years, Tim has served in catechetical and pastoral ministry roles at nearby St. Patrick Church. Early in his career, while working for Observer Newspapers in central Illinois, Tim won Illinois Press Association awards for feature photography, sports writing, and general excellence in editing. Tim earned an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Saint Meinrad School of Theology. Tim and his spouse, Melinda, live in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and have four adult children and five grandchildren with a sixth grandchild on the way — God willing — in late June.
Tim enjoys cooking/grilling, watching classic films, golf, and just about anything involving his adult children and grandchildren.
Tim is looking forward to working alongside Epiphany parishioners as together we fulfill Epiphany’s founding vision as a Vatican II-inspired, socially responsible Catholic community.
