Bonnie J. Chreste (Brotzge) 82 of Louisville Ky passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026. She was born to the late LaVerne and Louis Brotzge. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes, Presentation Academy and Nazareth College. She was a kindergarten teacher and was the co-owner of The Chreste Co. Bonnie loved planning events and trips More than anything, Mom loved the company of family and friends. She lived by the moto “the more the merrier”.

She is preceded in death by her soulmate of 44 years, Herbert Chreste. Left to treasure her memory are her children Debbie Landers (Paul), Dan Chreste (Rebel), Dawn Bow (Eric). Her brother Larry Brotzge (Patricia). Grandchildren Faith, Austin, Sydney, Zachary, Ethan, Payton, Colton and Grant. Great grandchildren Wyatt, Nora, Tyler, and Vincent.

Visitation will be held at Epiphany Catholic Church (914 Old Harrods Creek Rd.) on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 9-11Am. Funeral mass at 11am followed by burial at Cave Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or Home of the Innocents.
